Job summary

Teva Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director – Category Manager EXM-OSD to lead category strategy across the Externally Manufactured Oral Solid Dose network. You will own assigned technologies, develop strategies, and collaborate with Strategic Sourcing, External Manufacturing, Quality, and other stakeholders to deliver procurement value.

Reporting to the Senior Director Procurement, you will build category capability, strengthen supplier engagement, and drive multi-year savings while mentoring

Qualifications

• Experience in Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Procurement within pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
• Experience managing External Manufacturing (EXM), CMO/CDMO partnerships, or strategic supplier relationships.
• Experience leading sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, supplier engagement, and cross-functional projects.
• Strong understanding of Oral Solid Dose (OSD) manufacturing or pharmaceutical production networks is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned OSD categories and serve as Teva's category SME.
• Develop and execute strategies aligned with business needs and manufacturing priorities.
• Deliver 3-5 year savings and roadmaps.
• Support demand planning, capacity assessments, sourcing roadmaps, and P&L optimization.
• Maintain plans, documentation, and reporting.
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing on RFx, negotiations, contracts, supplier selection.
• Define supplier management strategies and drive performance improvements.
• Engage stakeholders across External Manufacturing, Technical Operations, and key functions.
• Drive cost optimization and value delivery with multi-year savings.
• Provide market intelligence to inform sourcing and strategy.
• Promote category management tools and best practices.
• Mentor team members and strengthen OSD category capabilities.
