Job summary

Zeekr Europe seeks an experienced Buyer Accessories to shape and execute sourcing strategies for its commodity area across Europe and China. You will partner with Procurement, Accessories, R&D, Finance, and other teams to manage supplier selection, contracts, and commercial agreements, while driving cost, quality, delivery, and innovation outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of purchasing experience in a dynamic, fast-growing organization.
• Experience in a technical or industrial environment including cross-functional projects and PM activities.
• Proven track record delivering procurement results through spend management and supplier relationships.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills with long-term supplier partnerships.
• Excellent analytical capabilities to translate data into actionable insights.
• Ability to influence across multifunctional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• University degree in a related field (Procurement, Supply Chain, Business).
• Automotive industry experience and SAP familiarity are strong advantages.
• Proven ability to work in international, multicultural settings.

The role

The role Your role will be to conduct research and continuously benchmark potential suppliers, vendors, and other industry trends as a source of accurate and up-to-date information for purchasing activities. You will work towards a commodity-based structure and take full commodity responsibility, which will have a significant impact on the company’s success.

This is what you will do:

As a Buyer Accessories, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the sourcing strategy for your commodity area while collaborating with stakeholders across Europe and China.

• Partner with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Accessories, R&D, Finance, and other business functions to manage supplier selection, contract awards, and commercial agreements.
• Drive procurement performance and deliver against key business and procurement KPIs, ensuring optimal cost, quality, delivery, and innovation outcomes.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies and Commodity Business Plans that support business objectives and long-term growth.
• Lead end-to-end supplier negotiations and establish robust commercial contracts that safeguard the company’s interests while fostering sustainable supplier partnerships.
• Continuously challenge and optimize the supplier base, identifying opportunities to improve commercial performance, efficiency, quality, and innovation.
• Collaborate closely with purchasing teams across Geely Europe to leverage synergies, share best practices, and align sourcing activities.
• Engage with colleagues and stakeholders in Geely China to align on product specifications, technical requirements, and cost structures.
• Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to identify opportunities, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support successful accessory development programs and business objectives.
• Occasional international travel will be required.

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

• A minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience within a dynamic and fast-growing organization. Experience in procurement within a technical or industrial environment is required, including involvement in cross-functional projects and project management activities.
• A proven track record of delivering procurement results through effective spend management, investment optimization, and the development of strong, long-lasting relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with experience establishing and maintaining strategic, long-term supplier partnerships that create value for all parties involved.
• Excellent analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, define strategic sourcing initiatives, and align procurement activities with broader business objectives.
• The ability to influence and collaborate across multifunctional teams to ensure successful execution. You are proactive, hands-on, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment, supported by strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A university degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
• Automotive industry experience and familiarity with SAP are considered strong advantages.
• Demonstrated success in influencing stakeholders and building effective working relationships within an international and multicultural environment.
• Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, negotiation, and contract management.
