Job summary

eyeo seeks a Senior Application Engineer to bridge customer needs with cutting‑edge image sensor technology. You will translate sensor, ISP, and color processing knowledge into robust camera system implementations and customer success.

In this role, you’ll engage with customers during evaluation and ramp-up, develop embedded software for bring-up, and tune ISP pipelines while collaborating with R&D, product, and commercial teams. Eyeo offers high ownership and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong software programming skills and Python scripting.
• Proven embedded software development for camera or imaging systems.
• Deep knowledge of ISP pipelines and colour processing.
• Broad camera system expertise across sensor, optics, ISP, and host interface.
• Excellent customer-oriented communication skills.
• C/C++ programming for embedded systems and/or programming for FPGAs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers during evaluation and integration.
• Support camera system bring-up, debug, and optimization from sensor to image quality output.
• Translate customer use cases into actionable feedback for R&D.
• Develop and adapt embedded software for image sensor bring-up.
• Tune ISP pipelines and validate color processing, HDR, and noise reduction.
• Collaborate with product, R&D, and commercial teams to align capabilities with market needs.
• Create application notes, reference designs, and demo materials.
• Support pre-sales activities through technical presentations and demos.
