Job summary

TechTree, a leading hedge fund, is hiring senior C++ engineers to design and own a greenfield analytics library and high-performance distributed systems. The role is fully remote across the UK, Netherlands, and France, on a 12-month contract that can convert to a permanent position.

You will build distributed systems for high-throughput market data, owning architecture, coding, testing and deployment end-to-end, using modern C++20 techniques in a demanding trading environment.

Qualifications

• Mastery of C++20 fundamentals and strong CS foundations.
• Solid experience designing distributed systems with load balancing, HA, inter-service communication, idempotency, and ACID guarantees.
• Hands-on with networking protocols and market-data interfaces (TCP/UDP, messaging/queuing, Pub/Sub).
• Latency optimization and performance tuning for trading environments.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and own distributed systems for high-throughput market data.
• Own architecture, coding, testing and deployment end-to-end.
• Translate requirements into clear tasks with MVP vs enterprise trade-offs.
