Job summary

Teampicnic is seeking a Buyer to own the end-to-end performance of a newly built category. You will shape the assortment, define strategy, and drive value and profitability with suppliers, turning data into smart commercial decisions in a fast-growing environment.

You'll set up ways of working, identify opportunities, and continuously improve the category from supplier partnerships and pricing to range quality and supply chain performance.

Qualifications

• MSc degree in Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent.
• 2+ years as Buyer/Category Manager in consumer goods or non-food.
• Experience building a new category from scratch and defining processes.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end category performance from strategy to execution.
• Develop category plans using data, insights, and market trends.
• Negotiate favorable commercial terms with suppliers.
• Lead supplier negotiations from preparation to signed agreements.
• Identify opportunities and build business cases for growth.
• Improve range quality, availability, and margins with cross-functional teams.
