Job summary

ABN AMRO Bank N.V. is seeking an experienced Senior Business Developer to drive change across the IFRS9 chain.

You will translate business needs into clear technical specs, work with engineering teams to priorities, and collaborate with Risk, Finance and IT to align timelines. The role emphasizes data analysis, stakeholder management and delivering measurable improvements in reporting and control.

At a glance

We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Developer to drive change across our IFRS9 chain. You'll improve reporting processes, accelerate model implementation, and lead data initiatives that strengthen efficiency, control, and business value.

You will work closely with our business stakeholders, product owners and management, where your deep knowledge of IFRS9, excellent analytical skills and strong stakeholder management are equally important.

Your job

• Translate business needs and requirements into clear technical specifications for thedevelopment team

• Collaborate with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, and IT to ensure alignment on priorities and timelines

Working environment

The Financial Risk grid is with approximately 350 colleagues responsible for (a.o.) RWA calculations, credit risk models, IFRS9 provisions, risk classifications, stress testing and scenario analysis, and Distressed Client Management. As the Financial Risk grid sits at the center of the bank’s key value chains, you will engage with a broad range of stakeholders across Risk Management, business functions, Finance, and other grids.

As the IFRS9 chain spans multiple teams, you will work across team boundaries while being part of one dedicated team. You work closely with experienced business developers and IT engineers.

Strong IFRS9 knowledge (5-10 years experience in credit risk management)
