Job summary

Kverneland Group, part of Kubota, is seeking a Business Controller to strengthen the finance leadership team in the Netherlands. You will combine strategic insight with hands-on financial management, reporting under IFRS, ICOFR, and J-SOX, and collaboration with management across the business.

The role emphasizes leadership, process optimization, and governance, with close interaction with operations and R&D.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, controlling and financial management.
Experience in both operational and strategic leadership roles.
Higher education in economics, finance, accounting, or auditing.
Solid understanding of Dutch legislation and tax regulations.
Experience with ICOFR/SOX.
Strong Excel skills and experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Excellent communication in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of two controllers and coordinate with accountants in the parent company.
Act as Legal MD / Legal Managing Director, ensuring compliance and governance.
Oversee IFRS, ICOFR, J-SOX reporting and Dutch regulatory requirements.
Prepare budgets, forecasts and long-term strategic plans; analyze deviations and implement improvements.
Be main contact for internal and external auditors and optimize financial processes.
