Job summary

Flow Traders in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to translate business needs into actionable requirements and establish KPI ownership across BI and FP&A. You will challenge business cases before projects and define ROI measurement frameworks, ensuring clear ownership and sign-off.

This advisory role focuses on frameworks, requirements, and processes that enable analytics teams to deliver value.

Qualifications

Substantial experience as a business analyst in a data- or reporting-heavy environment.
Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clear, actionable technical specifications.
Experience developing business cases, defining expected ROI, establishing measurement frameworks, and evaluating realized benefits.
Proven ability to define KPIs with business stakeholders, establish clear ownership, and ensure accountability for agreed metrics.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and escalate issues when necessary.

Responsibilities

Translate business intent into requirements and ensure stakeholders understand decisions.
Prioritize incoming requests based on value and required effort.
Define and track project ROI with project management and measurable outcomes.
Establish KPI definitions and ownership with business stakeholders.
Bridge business questions with BI/FP&A to align reporting requirements across teams.
Improve reporting by consolidating unnecessary complexity and streamlining processes.
