Job summary

OTC Flow B.V., a leading trading and brokerage firm based in Amsterdam, seeks an experienced Senior Biofuels Trader - Physical to join the Biofuels Desk. You will develop and execute a results-driven OTC trading strategy and build a strong client portfolio.

The role requires 3+ years in physical biofuel trading, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a proven ability to close deals. You will collaborate with the Biofuels Desk in a fast-paced, international environment, with a competitive remuneration

Qualifications

3+ years in trading within the physical biofuel market.
Entrepreneurial, competitive, and results-driven mindset.
Strong communicator and negotiator with a proven ability to close deals.
Target-oriented with ability to perform under pressure.
In-depth knowledge of biofuel markets, including certificates and physical trading.
Fluent English; additional European language is a plus.

Responsibilities

Portfolio Development: Build and manage a portfolio of clients through phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
Strategic Execution: Develop and implement a winning market approach primarily in physical biofuels.
Deal Closure: Leverage strong negotiation skills to effectively close deals, driving your own P&L book and consistently exceeding set targets.
Market Expertise: Demonstrate strong knowledge of market trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical shifts.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Biofuels Desk to expand OTC Flow’s activities.
