Job summary

Lonza is seeking a Senior Research Associate Biochemistry in Oss to advance ADS‑R&D Bioconjugates. You will plan and execute experiments, purify and characterize proteins, and contribute to functional assays and data interpretation.

You will collaborate with scientists, troubleshoot challenges, and help prepare IP-ready materials while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results. This role emphasizes scientific rigor and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Biochemistry or Molecular biology.
• 2–4 years relevant experience in Biochemistry.
• Strong focus to laboratory work with high experimental standards.
• Works closely with scientists, communicates effectively in the team.
• Interprets analytical data and translates to next steps.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform experiments and optimize protocols.
• Execute enzymatic and chemical reactions on antibodies and proteins; purify and characterize.
• Conduct functional analyses and coordinate outsourced assays with CROs.
• Prepare data, slides, and IP filing examples for internal and external use.
• Manage project timelines and contribute to sub-projects.
• Support internal meetings and external collaborations with presentation slides.
• Oversee lab organization and safety; manage ELNs and SOPs.
