Job summary

Specialized Bicycle Components at the European Distribution Centre in ’s-Heerenberg is seeking a Service & Workshop Team Leader to manage a technical service and repair team within a fast-paced workshop environment.

You will lead approximately ten technicians, ensuring they leave the workshop safe, properly tuned, and built to the highest standards. You will be visible on the floor, drive improvements, and coordinate with colleagues across departments and Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a technical team, preferably within bicycle or related service environments.
• Extensive technical knowledge of bicycles, both mechanical and electrical, incl. suspension systems and wheel building/maintenance as a plus.
• Fluency in Dutch and English for international collaboration.
• Coaching, people-focused leadership style and ability to develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership to a team of 9–12 technicians.
• Ensure quality, planning, productivity, and safety within the workshop.
• Coach and develop team members to maximize performance.
• Analyze KPIs and drive improvements in quality, efficiency and processes.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Quality, Rider Care and European organization.
• Lead workforce planning, staffing, onboarding, and performance of the team.
