Job summary

Worley Consulting, part of Worley, is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant (Europe-based) to lead technical workstreams on Battery Energy Storage Systems and hybrid renewable projects. The role involves grid integration studies and owner’s engineering across European markets.

The successful candidate will join an international Power and New Energy team, bringing robust engineering experience and proactive client engagement to deliver sustainable, technically rigorous solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Senior level consulting experience in relevant industry.
• Proven experience in BESS and Solar PV projects.
• Exposure to hybrid renewable energy systems.
• Understanding of transmission and distribution networks.
• Experience supporting grid integration activities.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical consulting services including feasibility and conceptual studies.
• Provide technical leadership for BESS, Solar PV and Hybrid Projects.
• Conduct grid connection studies and interconnection assessments.
• Deliver Owner's Engineering and Independent Engineering assignments.
• Perform technical due diligence for lenders and investors.
• Prepare technical specifications and employer requirements.
• Evaluate OEM and EPC technical proposals.
• Support power system studies and grid compliance assessments.
• Assist with proposal development and client engagement.
