Job summary

Human Material Loop is seeking a Senior Business Developer to drive commercial growth for ādara across textiles, architecture, and interiors. You will build long-term partnerships, convert pipeline opportunities, and move opportunities from interest to specifications and orders.

You will leverage an established network in contract interiors, negotiate partnerships, and collaborate with R&D and production to ensure successful commercial adoption across Europe.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in senior B2B business development or sales.
• An established network within architecture, textiles, and commercial interiors.
• A proven record of developing and closing commercial opportunities.
• Experience with specification driven and project based sales.
• Experience negotiating commercial partnerships and agreements.
• A good understanding of textiles, materials, manufacturing, or interior products.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Commercial judgement and the ability to work independently.
• Professional fluency in English, with additional European languages considered an advantage.
• Willingness to travel across Europe for customers, projects, and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the B2B business development strategy.
• Build and manage relationships with architects, designers, specifiers, textile companies, manufacturers, furniture brands, acoustic companies, and contract interior partners.
• Activate your existing industry network to create new commercial opportunities.
• Identify architectural and commercial interior projects where ādara can be specified.
• Build and manage a structured pipeline from first contact through commercial conversion.
• Develop key accounts and strategic partnerships.
• Lead commercial discussions, proposals, pricing, negotiations, and agreements.
• Represent Human Material Loop at customer meetings, industry events, trade fairs, and presentations.
• Translate customer requirements and market feedback into clear input for product development.
• Work closely with the founder, R&D, and production teams to move opportunities from material introduction to commercial implementation.
• Build repeat business and long term customer relationships.
