Zusammenfassung

Morgan Black is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Kotlin Engineer to join a professional Agile/Scrum team in Amsterdam. You will develop, improve and maintain high-performance backend services using Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot and event-driven architectures, and collaborate with engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

You will work on complex systems that process large volumes of transactions, with emphasis on reliability, scalability and performance.

Qualifikationen

Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Java and/or Kotlin.
Strong experience with Kotlin, Spring Boot and event-driven architectures.
Experience with asynchronous communication using Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar technologies.
Strong understanding of REST API architecture and backend development.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB or similar databases.
Familiarity with observability, monitoring, logging and alerting.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and user stories.
Professional working proficiency in English.
