Job summary

Partner Company is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer for Europe-based, remote work as part of a Future Hiring Program. You will contribute to backend design, development and deployment using modern technologies and cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers and stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance systems, with a path to upcoming backend opportunities across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of commercial software development experience, backend focus.
• Proficiency in multiple backend languages (C#, .NET, C++ or similar).
• Experience with microservices and scalable architectures.
• Cloud-based solution design/deployment, preferably Azure and/or AWS.
• Relational DB experience (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Ability to contribute to technical design decisions and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Adopt microservices and distributed architectures for maintainability.
• Build and deploy on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and manage data access layers.
• Participate in CI/CD and DevOps practices to streamline delivery.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to align on objectives.
• Ensure code quality through reviews and best practices.
