Redwood Software Nederland B.V. is seeking a Senior Backend Software Developer to design and deliver services powering the RunMyJobs platform. You will shape backend architecture, build secure integrations, and improve performance for mission-critical customer workflows.

You will design scalable services in Java/Spring, optimize data models, and lead architectural decisions while mentoring teams. The role follows a hybrid model with two days per week in our Houten office, offering growth and

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in computing.
• Minimum 5+ years of backend software development.
• Strong expertise with Java 11/17+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing distributed, scalable, secure, maintainable systems.
• Proficiency with relational DBs and ORM (PostgreSQL/MySQL, Hibernate/JPA).
• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container tech (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with testing and CI/CD pipelines; strong debugging and debugging skills.
• Ability to mentor and contribute to technical direction, agile teamwork.
• AI tool fluency and the ability to review AI-generated code for quality.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring.
• Contribute to distributed system architecture, data flows, and fault tolerance.
• Design relational data models and optimize queries for performance.
• Build and maintain integrations with enterprise systems and cloud services.
