Job summary

ITproposal B.V. seeks a Senior Data & Migration Developer – Azure in Amsterdam to lead ETL, data migration, and Azure‑based integration efforts within an Agile environment.

You will design and implement ETL processes, write SQL scripts, ensure data quality, and coordinate across systems using Azure DevOps. 4–6 years of relevant experience is expected.

This six‑month assignment focuses on Azure data migration projects and COTS integrations, with a hands‑on, collaborative team approach.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with ETL processes.
• Proven experience with data migration concepts and projects.
• Experience with COTS applications and associated data migration activities.
• Experience with MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support ETL processes and data migration activities.
• Work on data migration projects involving primarily Azure-based applications and COTS solutions.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues.
• Develop and maintain SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, validation, and migration.
• Support data integration and migration activities across different systems.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Use Azure DevOps for development, source control, and project collaboration.
• Perform data processing and automation using Unix Shell Scripting and text-processing tools where required.
