Job summary

Xccelerated | Part of Xebia in The Hague (hybrid) is seeking a Senior AWS Infrastructure Engineer to drive a large-scale cloud foundation. You will help deliver secure, scalable infrastructure across 750+ AWS accounts while expanding cloud and automation expertise in an international environment.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience implementing AWS cloud solutions.
• Experience with Platform as a Service, Python scripting, and IaC with Terraform and CDK.
• Architectural and platform/solution design knowledge.
• Experience working with stakeholders at enterprise scale.
• Ownership mindset and ability to deliver end-to-end tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a secure, scalable, and self-service AWS cloud foundation for application teams.
• Innovate while safeguarding platform stability and security.
• Track new AWS releases and implement relevant features to keep the platform future-proof.
• Continuously improve automation to reduce operational overhead.
• Participate in standby/OPS rotation roughly every 5-8 weeks.
• Apply strong software engineering practices (Python) alongside infrastructure work.
