Job summary

Shuter Smith International in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Civil, Structural & Architectural Designer to lead design deliverables for complex industrial projects from FEED to detailed design.

You will produce detailed 3D models and 2D drawings, work with AVEVA E3D, PDMS and SP3D, and ensure interface management and CAD standards across disciplines. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential. This staff role offers international exposure and relocation support where applicable.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Civil, Structural & Architectural Designer in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries.
• Experience on onshore FEED through detailed design including greenfield/brownfield/revamp projects.
• AVEVA E3D experience is essential; PDMS and SP3D experience highly desirable.
• Strong AutoCAD and CAD standards knowledge.
• Familiarity with Eurocodes, British and/or American standards is advantageous.
• Legal eligibility to work in Netherlands and EU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Civil, Structural & Architectural designs and deliverables for major industrial projects.
• Produce detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for civil, structural and architectural elements.
• Work with AVEVA E3D, PDMS and SP3D; AVEVA E3D experience mandatory.
• Apply E3D management procedures and design standards for consistent project execution.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings using AutoCAD and other tools.
• Coordinate designs with other disciplines for accurate interfaces and constructability.
• Apply international standards, codes and safety regulations.
• Contribute to design reviews and improve design standards and methods.
• Work effectively within multi-location, multicultural teams.
