Job summary
Organon is expanding its Oss manufacturing operations and seeks a Senior Design Engineer Automation to lead automation and control system design, integration and commissioning for new facilities. You will drive project lifecycle activities from requirements through testing, validation and handover, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance and cross‑functional collaboration within a global project team.
Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in industrial automation, strong PLC/DCS/SCADA experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in automation or related field.
- At least 7 years’ experience in industrial automation projects.
- Strong PLC programming and automation expertise with Siemens/Rockwell.
- Experience with DCS/SCADA systems (iFix preferred) in regulated environments.
- Knowledge of GMP/GAMP and OT networks; travel within Europe.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, integration and deployment of automation and control systems.
- Manage FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ and PQ activities across projects.
- Collaborate with vendors and engineering partners throughout delivery.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and successful handover to operations.
- Support commissioning activities and project planning activities.
