Job summary

EMW in The Hague, NL, is seeking a Senior Assurance Engineer to join the Chief Quality Office, Independent Assurance Branch.

You will plan, execute and report on verification and validation activities for multiple projects, collaborating in a multinational team and supporting external contractors when needed.

A NATO SECRET clearance is mandatory, with at least 5 years' experience in test planning and V&V across large systems.

Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET clearance.
• 5+ years planning and executing test, verification and validation in large projects.
• 5+ years testing functional, non-functional and interoperability aspects.
• Experience managing external stakeholders and teams.
• Ability to understand hardware/software architectures.
• Experience with virtualization and cloud environments.
• Familiar with test tools for test/defect/requirements management.
• Experience with independent testing when performed by external party.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and conducts formal reviews and assessments of complex domains areas, cross-functional areas, and across the supply chain.
• Evaluates, appraises and identifies non-compliances with organizational standards and determines the underlying reasons for non-compliance;
• Produces test documentation such as (Event) Test Plans, Test cases, Requirements Traceability Matrix, test reports, etc.
• Provides assurance to test artefacts such as the Requirements Traceability Matrix;
• Manages the design, planning and execution of the V&V events and its reporting;
• Provides support to projects where the execution is performed by an external contractor
• Provides support to the operational community in operational acceptance activities
