Job summary

Wlgroup is seeking an experienced Assurance professional to join our product and service assurance team in The Hague, Netherlands. You will verify and validate delivered projects, systems and programmes, reporting findings at executive level.

Mostly on-site with some work-from-home flexibility. You would lead planning and execution of formal reviews, appraise work against standards, and produce test documentation including event test plans and traceability matrices.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience planning and executing test, verification and validation on large projects.
• Five years testing systems for function, load, and interoperability.
• Proven management of external stakeholders and large delivery.
• Architectural literacy to reason about hardware/software designs in system docs.
• Clear, concise written and spoken communication.
• Experience leading a team of testers, quality engineers or developers.
• Testing in virtualised and cloud environments.
• Experience with test/defect/requirements management tooling.
• Experience with independent testing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and run formal reviews and assessments across complex and cross-functional domains, and along the supply chain.

You would join the product and service assurance team of a multinational defence organisation in The Hague, Netherlands - verifying and validating delivered projects, systems, services and programmes, and reporting on them at executive level. Mostly on-site, with flexibility to work from home.

What you would be doing

• Planning, organising and running formal reviews and assessments across complex and cross-functional domains, and along the supply chain
• Appraising work against the organisation's standards, identifying where it does not comply, and working out why
• Producing the test documentation - event test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, reports
• Assuring other people's test artefacts, the traceability matrix above all
• Managing the design, planning, execution and reporting of verification and validation events
• Supporting projects delivered by external contractors
• Supporting the operational community through acceptance activities

What you would bring

• At least five years, recently, planning and executing test, verification and validation on large and complex projects
• At least five years testing systems and products for function, behaviour under load, and interoperability with everything around them
• Proven management of external stakeholders and colleagues through a large delivery
• Enough architectural literacy to reason about the hardware and software designs you find in system documentation
• Communication that is clear, coherent and concise, written and spoken
• Experience leading a team of testers, quality engineers or developers
• Testing in virtualised and cloud environments
• The usual test, defect and requirements management tooling
• Independent testing where the testing itself is done by someone else

Nice to have

• An advanced testing or test-management certification
• Testing in a defence or military business domain, and interoperability testing in that context
