Job summary

Schuberg Philis is seeking a security-engineer with deep Akamai and web security expertise to join our Akamai customer team in the Netherlands. You will own end-to-end security configurations, automate deployments, and collaborate closely with customers to ensure secure, reliable platforms.

You will work on WAF/CDN platforms, API security, zero-trust implementations, and cloud tooling, while promoting best practices in security and automation within multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing security roles.
• Strong practical knowledge of WAFs/CDNs and API security.
• Hands‑on experience with bot mitigation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end security configuration and automation for Akamai services.
• Proactively hunt for vulnerabilities in customer domains and advise on solutions.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure secure, scalable deployments.
