Job summary

KIRA is seeking Android software engineers to build the native Android experience for our AI Neobank App. You will own clean user flows, performance, and reliable mobile features used by real customers in a fast-paced startup environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin, strong fundamentals, and hands-on work with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Flow. This role is remote with Netherlands-based applicants preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Android development experience.
• Strong Kotlin skills and production-grade Android apps experience.
• Solid knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow and modern Android architecture.
• Excellent mobile UX sensibility, edge cases, and user flows.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues.
• Ability to ship features quickly with high quality and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship Android features using Kotlin.
• Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals and financial services.
• Collaborate with product and design to simplify complex user journeys.
• Integrate backend APIs and ensure mobile flows are stable, secure and reliable.
• Improve app performance, crashes, loading states, and memory usage.
• Use analytics and production issues to improve the product.
• Develop AI-assisted mobile experiences where they genuinely help users.
