Job summary

Ventula Consulting Ltd. is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join a central data platform team in Zeeland, adopting hybrid work with 2-3 days onsite.

You will transform raw data into reliable datasets, reports and data products to support business decisions, collaborating with Data Engineers, Data Stewards and stakeholders. You will design data transformations, build analytical datasets, and develop dashboards while applying software engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience is essential.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• Practical experience with Python and dbt.
• Experience turning business requirements into usable analytical datasets and reporting solutions.
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with technical and business stakeholders.

We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer to join a central data platform team, transforming raw data into reliable datasets, reports and data products that support business decisions.

You’ll work closely with Data Engineers, Data Stewards and business stakeholders, combining strong engineering skills with the ability to understand and translate business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build data transformations, semantic datasets and analytical data products.


• Develop reports and dashboards alongside business users and Data Stewards.


• Apply software engineering best practices to test, document and maintain reliable transformations.


• Contribute to data quality, acceptance testing and code reviews.


• Document datasets and maintain business definitions in Microsoft Purview.


• Temporarily support departments without an appointed Data Steward.
