ML6 is seeking a Senior AI Project Manager to align client strategic objectives with technical execution, leading teams of AI engineers to deliver high-impact AI solutions on time and within budget.

You will own end-to-end delivery, drive discovery workshops, translate business needs into technical roadmaps, oversee budgets, and ensure governance and ethics across hybrid offices in Amsterdam, Ghent, Eindhoven, Berlin or Munich.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience with AI-driven projects.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in English; working proficiency in Dutch or German preferred.
• Ability to work hybrid from offices in Ghent, Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Berlin or Munich.

Strategic Discovery & Stakeholder Management

• Discovery & Scoping: Lead workshops and interviews to uncover business needs and translate them into actionable, technical project roadmaps.
• Technical Translation: Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, adapting communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Account Growth: Act as a trusted advisor to identify expansion opportunities and propose innovative AI use cases to senior client leadership.

Project Delivery & Operational Excellence

• End-to-End Ownership: Manage the complete project lifecycle - from sprint planning and backlog prioritization to testing and final delivery.
• Governance & Budgeting: Oversee resource allocation, timelines, and budgets to ensure profitability and delivery milestones are met.
• Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all deployed solutions meet legal, security, privacy, and responsible AI standards.
• Agile Execution: Adapt flexibly to diverse client workflows and agile tooling environments.

Team Leadership & Quality Assurance

• Team Enablement: Foster a high-performance culture, remove delivery blockers, and support team growth.
• Quality Standards: Establish clear accountability and review processes to ensure robust technical output.
• Continuous Improvement: Maintain project documentation and run retrospectives to capture and implement best practices.

What You Bring

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience, with a proven track record in delivering AI-driven projects.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in English. Working proficiency in Dutch or German is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting, from our office in Ghent, Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Berlin or Munich.

Technical & Methodological Expertise

• Solid understanding of data pipelines, machine learning workflows, and modern cloud ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience delivering Generative AI solutions is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency with Agile frameworks and project tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Kanban, PRINCE2).

A project can run for a couple of months, to even years.
