Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in the AI & ML ecosystem. You will own and evolve critical parts of the company\'s AI ecosystem, focusing on high-performance database engineering and developer experience.

You\'ll build tools for Engineers and Data Scientists to leverage speed and scale in familiar frameworks. You will drive architecture and features for AI/LLM integrations across LangChain, LlamaIndex, n8n, and broader tooling, enabling vector

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience including Data Scientist or ML Engineer background.
• Proven production-grade Python connectors, SDKs, or integrations for major platforms.
• Hands-on AI/ML in production data engineering contexts: embeddings, vector search, feature pipelines, LLM tooling.
• Strong Python data ecosystem: Pandas, NumPy, Pydantic.
• Strong SQL and OLAP database fundamentals and data modeling.
• Experience with concurrency: threading, multiprocessing, async patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Python connector and SDK ecosystem, improving performance and API design.
• Design AI/LLM integration patterns for RAG architectures, ML feature pipelines, and data applications.
• Engage with the open-source community: triage issues, support contributors, and shape the roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product, Cloud, and other engineering teams to align integration work with platform priorities.
• Provide a practitioner’s perspective to roadmap decisions based on Data Engineer and Data Scientist workflows.
