Job summary

CGI Nederland is seeking AI Engineering professionals across strategic, tactical and operational levels who can apply Large Language Models and other AI technologies in practical business contexts. The role requires residency in the Netherlands and offers permanent contract in a multi-profile team.

Responsibilities include leading AI projects end-to-end, designing AI solutions, building production-ready Python components, and integrating LLM APIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on AI engineering experience.
• Proven ability to deliver AI solutions with business impact.
• Experience applying LLMs in real-world applications (prompt engineering, fine tuning, RAG).
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across AI projects, from ideas to delivery.
• Translate complex problems into experiments and actionable plans.
• Apply LLMs and GenAI techniques through API use, integration, optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Handle data preparation, model lifecycle, evaluation and production monitoring.
• Work with modern AI frameworks, SDKs and agent-based architectures.
• Contribute to solution design and the full delivery lifecycle for AI related products and services.
