Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Senior AI Engineer based in the Netherlands to bring AI-powered capabilities into production. You will design, build, deploy, and optimize LLM features, integrating RAG, embeddings, agents, and tool calling, while ensuring observability and cost efficiency.

The role offers ownership, cross-team collaboration, and opportunities to ship impactful AI solutions in a fast-moving product environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features into production.
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector search, agents, LLM APIs, orchestration.
• Understanding production LLM considerations: evaluation, observability, latency, cost.
• Strong API design and backend/distributed systems experience.
• Full-stack development with modern frontend frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, deploy, and maintain production-grade LLM capabilities.
• Build backend services, APIs, integrations, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Product, ML, and Engineering to translate challenges into practical AI solutions.
• Establish evaluation, observability, monitoring, and feedback for AI features.
• Monitor and optimize AI systems for latency, reliability, and cost.
