Planet is seeking an experienced engineering leader to become our Senior Director of Engineering for Civil Government and Commercial. You will guide the engineering strategy, execution, and team development for 70+ engineers across global offices, overseeing AMS, Disaster and Wildfire solutions, and the CDSE portfolio.

You’ll drive zero-to-one product discovery with Product, Design, and Science teams, leveraging AI to build innovative government and enterprise offerings.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years software engineering experience with 8+ years in leadership
• Experience scaling 50+ engineers across geographies
• Hands-on AI tooling experience and leading AI adoption
