Job summary

ABN AMRO Bank N.V. is seeking a Data Scientist to design, develop, and bring AI-powered solutions into production. You will work with large datasets and cloud platforms to deliver measurable business value within the Enterprise Enabling Data Domain.

You will identify AI opportunities, translate questions into scalable products, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed AI into processes while upholding governance and responsible AI principles.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with ML, LLMs and generative or agentic AI.
• Hands-on with Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, and Spark.
• Proficient in Python with modern ML libraries (PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience with MLOps, model deployment and automated pipelines.
• Up-to-date knowledge of AI/ML research and best practices.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and evaluate advanced ML and LLM-based solutions.
• Work with datasets, metadata, knowledge graphs, and unstructured data.
• Develop scalable, production-ready AI products on Azure, Databricks, Spark.
• Translate business questions into AI opportunities and insights.
• Collaborate with ML Engineers, Data Engineers, Analysts, and domain experts.
• Advise on responsible AI, data quality, explainability, and governance.
