Job summary

ABN AMRO is expanding its AI team in Amsterdam to design and deploy GenAI applications for banking use cases, including Voice AI and RAG pipelines. You will co-create use cases with business partners, own the full development cycle, and work across Agents, LLMs, and Databricks to deliver scalable solutions.

You should bring 2–5 years building AI apps, Python production experience, cloud familiarity, and a strong ability to translate business problems into technical results.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience building AI applications.
• Proven experience building and deploying AI applications using LLMs, RAG, agents, fine-tuning, voice AI, or equivalent.
• Production experience with Python.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure.
• Experience shipping products used by real people and ability to explain what worked and what did not.
• Ability to move from an idea to a working product without much steering.
• Interest in both business problems and technical solutions.
• Ability to explain decisions clearly to people without the same context.
• Ongoing curiosity about the GenAI field.
• Experience building a side project, tool, or contribution independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GenAI solutions across banking use cases, including Voice AI, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and document intelligence.
• Co-create use cases with business counterparts by understanding business problems and technical solutions.
• Own the full development cycle: experiment, build, deploy, monitor, improve, and scale.
• Work with Agents, plain LLMs, code, Databricks, and other suitable tools.
• Raise the team’s technical quality through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and coaching juniors.
