Seed Health Laboratory in the Netherlands seeks a Laboratory Technician to support the Quality Testing division. The role focuses on preparation of media and buffers, initiating quality testing samples, and ensuring accurate documentation in a high-volume lab environment.

The role is not research-oriented but requires routine, repetitive tasks to generate reliable test results for stakeholders, under supervision of a Senior Technician, with emphasis on process improvements and cross-functional

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience
• Experience with quality testing and sample management
• Ability to work in a high-volume, repetitive task environment
• Knowledge of ISO/ISTA, HSE and QMS rules is advantageous

Responsabilités

• Carry out laboratory activities, service assignments, and administrative work.
• Retrieve, prepare, and process seed samples for testing.
• Perform serial dilutions and plate samples.
• Assist in setting up bioassays as needed.
• Prepare media, buffers, and antibiotics for testing, and maintain stock inventory.
• Ensure documentation for tests meets quality assurance requirements.
• Support peers during activities and contribute to process improvements.
