Job summary

Cello Square by Samsung SDS Europe is seeking a senior security professional to oversee supply chain security across multiple NL sites. You will investigate incidents, develop security plans, and lead training to raise awareness and prevent losses.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's degree, 7+ years in supply chain security, and strong English; you will report to regional management in Delft and work from the Delft HQ at least four days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree required.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain security.
• Prefer security certifications such as ASIS CPO/CPP/PSP/PCI, etc.
• Experience with the development of physical, electronic and organizational security plans.
• Proven communication and pressure management skills.
• Analytical skills (incl. Excel).
• A proficient level of English.
• The ability to work from SDS' regional headquarters in Delft for at least 4 days per week.
• The ability to create/manage TSR, WSR and others related to security audits.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze security incidents to reduce damage from theft and fraud.
• Inform stakeholders about incidents and fraud to keep focus on investigations.
• Maintain security requirements for warehouses, carriers, monitoring centers and Samsung personnel to improve security measures.
• Advise facilities and IT on security to ensure service levels.
• Develop and deliver security training materials and execute training to build awareness.
• Attend periodic meetings with Logistic Service Providers to review incidents.
• Execute security policies to ensure optimal security level.
• Conduct periodic audits of warehouses, transportation, offices and monitoring centers to identify threats and risk areas; visit incident locations for major incidents.
• Advise management, prepare reports from audits, and identify improvement areas to reduce risks.
• Be part of the EU-team with regular meetings and supportive investigations.
• Report to regional management in the Netherlands (SDSE Delft) / EU HQ security lead.
• Initial focus on Samsung SDS logistic sites in the South of the Netherlands (Tilburg/Breda area); total five sites, with expansion planned.

Job description

• Investigate and analyze security incidents in order to take corrective measures and thereby reduce or prevent the damage caused by theft and/or fraud.
• Inform internal and external stakeholders regarding incidents & fraud in order to keep their focus on the investigation process.
• Execute and maintain security requirements for Warehouse Third Party Logistics, Carriers, Monitoring centers and Samsung personnel in order to improve security measures and awareness.
• Advise facilities and IT department regarding security in order to ensure an optimum service level.
• Manage and assist on development of training, training materials and execute training in order to construct efficient security risk & awareness training.
• Attend to periodic meetings with Logistic Service Providers in order to review incidents.
• Execute security policies in order to ensure an optimum security level.
• Execute periodic and random warehouse, transportation, office and monitoring center audits throughout Germany in order to identify security threats and potential risk areas. Visit incident locations in case of large incidents.
• Advise (local) management, compose reports based on audit results, and determine improvement areas in order to reduce potential risk areas and create security awareness.
• Reasonable knowledge about technical security systems used to protect Samsung and non-captive business with proven skills.
• Part of the EU-team, including regular meetings and supportive investigations.
• Fixed reporting line to regional management in the Netherlands (SDSE Delft) / direct report to EU RHQ security team leader
• We expect in the beginning focus on the Samsung SDS logistic sites in the South of Netherlands (4 x Tilburg/Breda) but other sites in the NL are also within the tasks. At this moment total of number is actually five sites but expected to extend coming years. Office base to be discussed but probably focus on Tilburg/Breda area.
