Job summary

Wiz is seeking a Security Engineer for Product & Production Infrastructure to secure cloud-native environments and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with software development and DevOps to protect Wiz's products and production infrastructure, influencing the product roadmap with assessment and hardening of environments.

You will lead threat modeling, build security tooling, and drive remediation efforts across development to production, partnering with engineering and operations to deliver

Qualifications

• 7+ years in security engineering or security operations in cloud environments.
• Strong experience in AWS security; Azure/GCP with AWS exposure also considered.
• Proven ability to lead security reviews and threat modeling exercises.
• Hands-on with IAC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, Pulumi.
• Proficient in Python/Go/Shell for tooling and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead threat modeling and security reviews across products and cloud infra.
• Build automation and policy-as-code to shift security left in workflows.
• Design secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes infra.
• Drive vulnerability management and remediation with strategic controls.
• Extend detection/response capabilities; triage alerts and incidents.
• Partner with engineering/ops to deliver secure-by-design solutions.
