Job summary

Unknown Global Internet Infrastructure Leader, headquartered in Amsterdam, seeks a Security Engineer to protect critical network infrastructure. You will manage firewall ecosystems, monitor for threats, and collaborate with engineering and external security partners on risk mitigation and incident response.

This role focuses on scalable security architecture, migrations, and maintaining comprehensive security documentation across a global environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in network or infrastructure security engineering.
• Hands-on firewall experience with Palo Alto and Juniper.
• Experience with VPNs, IDS/IPS, and threat mitigation; SIEM experience with Splunk or Sentinel.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine firewall rules and configs for better performance and protection.

• Strong hands-on experience with firewall technologies such as Palo Alto and Juniper
• Solid understanding of networking and security protocols, VPNs, IDS/IPS and threat mitigation
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Sentinel
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Experience working in large-scale or global infrastructure environments
