Job summary

Accenture the Netherlands seeks a senior security leader to act as the primary security representative for client engagements. You will lead delivery of security-related programs and drive commercial opportunities, expanding Accenture’s footprint within the Financial Services sector.

You will collaborate with security experts, account teams, and other practices to deliver end-to-end solutions; define strategies addressing regulatory compliance, resilience, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary security representative for Accenture at the client, building trust‑based relationships with senior stakeholders and positioning Accenture as a strategic partner.
• Lead and oversee the delivery of security‑related projects and programs, ensuring smooth execution and exceeding client expectations.
• Drive commercial opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge and client relationships to expand Accenture’s footprint and deliver measurable value.
• Collaborate across teams and geographies, working with security domain experts, account teams, and other Accenture practices to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Define, implement, and manage security strategies tailored to the client’s business needs, addressing broader challenges such as:
• Operational resilience
• Regulatory compliance
• Digital transformation and sovereignty
• Operational and cost optimization
• M&A
• Emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI, quantum computing)
• Lead business development initiatives, including proposal creation, client presentations, and market visibility efforts to grow Accenture’s presence in the Financial Services sector.
• Coach and mentor junior security professionals, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence within the team.

Qualifications

• A degree in Security, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in Security, with a strong focus on Financial Services.
• Proven commercial experience, including identifying and driving business opportunities.
• Strong network and active senior‑level relationships within the Financial Services industry.
• Extensive experience in project management and consultancy, with a focus on delivery excellence.
• Expertise in areas such as Cyber Strategy, Cyber Governance and Data & AI Security.
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• A dynamic and commercially minded professional with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
