Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking an OT Cyber Security Architect for a major technology organisation in the South Netherlands on a 12-month rolling contract. You will consolidate OT networks, design secure architectures and implement security controls.

You'll work with security, engineering and business teams to meet standards, with on-site presence three days a week in South Netherlands. Start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Strong background in OT / IC Cyber Security, ideally at the architecture level.
• Experience with OT network security and architecture.
• Hands-on understanding of OT network segmentation and secure architecture principles.
• Experience with IDS and network monitoring solutions in OT/industrial environments.
• Knowledge of OT logging, monitoring and security visibility.
• Experience with recognised OT/cyber security standards and frameworks.
• Experience producing URS or similar technical requirements documentation.
• Strong understanding of network security concepts including firewalls and secure communications.
• Ability to work with both highly technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience delivering security projects in complex enterprise or industrial environments.

OT Cyber Security Architect | South Netherlands | 12 Month Rolling Contract

Are you an experienced OT Cyber Security / Network Security professional looking for your next long term contract?

I'm working with a major technology organisation in the South Netherlands on a critical OT security programme. They are looking for an experienced specialist to help shape, secure and modernise their Operational Technology (OT) environment.

This is an opportunity to work on a technically challenging programme where your expertise will directly contribute to improving the security, resilience and visibility of critical OT networks and infrastructure.

The Role

As an OT Cyber Security Architect, you will play a key role in consolidating the existing OT network environment and designing secure architectures that meet both operational requirements and recognised security standards.

You will be involved across architecture, requirements, security monitoring and implementation, working closely with technical and business stakeholders throughout the programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consolidate and rationalise the existing OT network infrastructure, improving security, resilience and manageability.
• Design and develop secure OT network architectures, taking into account segmentation, security zones and operational requirements.
• Ensure OT environments and proposed solutions align with relevant cyber security standards, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Translate business and technical requirements into clear User Requirement Specifications (URS).
• Support the implementation of an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) across the OT environment.
• Establish and improve the collection, monitoring and analysis of OT security logs.
• Work closely with network, infrastructure, engineering and cyber security teams to ensure security requirements are embedded throughout the programme.
• Provide technical input into security architecture, implementation and continuous improvement activities.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone with a strong background in OT / IC Cyber Security, ideally with experience operating at architecture level.

You’ll ideally have:

• Strong experience across OT / ISC network security and architecture.
• Hands on understanding of OT network segmentation and secure architecture principles.
• Experience with IDS / network monitoring solutions within OT or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of OT logging, monitoring and security visibility.
• Experience working with recognised OT / cyber security standards and frameworks.
• Experience producing User Requirement Specifications (URS) or similar technical requirements documentation.
• Strong understanding of network security concepts, including firewalls, segmentation and secure communications.
• The ability to work with both highly technical teams and wider business / engineering stakeholders.
• Experience delivering security projects within complex enterprise or industrial environments.
