Job summary
Johnson & Johnson in Leiden, Netherlands, is seeking a Scientific Manager Lab (Data) Systems to lead a small, skilled data systems team onsite. You will drive validated data systems for Analytical Development within CGT, coordinating with US sites and global partners to improve data availability, traceability, and integrity.
The role requires a Master’s in Biomedical Science or Data Engineering, 10+ years in data systems in a lab, and strong leadership.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field (Biomedical Science or Data Engineering).
- At least 10 years of experience with data systems in a laboratory environment.
- Detail oriented with a quality mindset.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Data Systems team based in Leiden (1 Team Lead + 3 members with potential expansion).
- Oversee the Local equipment team (2 direct reports and external LCM supplier team).
- Ensure data integrity by implementing compliant systems and workflows.
- Achieve global alignment with stakeholders and management.
- Manage GMP-compliant data systems and automate data capture from analytical equipment.
