Job summary

ABN AMRO Bank N.V. is seeking a Project Manager Financial Reporting to drive the SBR workstream within the FSaaS program. You will structure and standardize annual report data, govern its delivery, and promote adoption across the bank.

The role requires mastery of financial reporting, strong governance, and the ability to align internal and external stakeholders. English fluency is essential, Dutch is a plus, with a 36-hour week and extensive development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s level academic qualification with the ability to quickly master complex subject matter.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven experience leading complex initiatives and delivering successful outcomes.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, taxonomies, or XML reporting is required.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to structure decision processes and run workshops.
• Affinity with data, processes and IT; translate into practical implementation.
• Excellent English communication (Dutch a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead the SBR workstream within the FSaaS program and ensure standardization of annual report data.
• Deliver, govern, and implement the SBR workstream; embed into day-to-day operations.
• Manage KPI performance and promote SBR adoption across ABN AMRO.
• Develop strategy for phasing out current ways of working and align internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including SBR Nexus, auditors, software vendors, and other banks.
• Translate complex challenges into tangible actions and sustainable improvements.
