Job summary

AtS[&]T in Delft seeks a Senior AIT Engineer to lead assembly, integration, and test for satellite hardware. You will own AI&T activities, define verification strategies, and drive test campaigns with international partners to ensure flight readiness.

You will establish AI&T standards, procedures, and test infrastructure, shaping future satellite programs. The role requires on-site presence in Delft with limited hybrid options and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams in Europe and the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline as listed.
• 8+ years in assembly, integration and testing of complex hardware.
• Experience owning an integration and test campaign from planning to delivery.
• Hands-on environmental/qualification testing (e.g. vibration, TVAC).
• Spacecraft AI&T experience at platform, payload or subsystem level.
• Experience defining and procuring GSE and working with suppliers.
• Fluent English; Dutch in use is a plus; willing to work on-site in Delft.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the AI&T philosophy and strategy for the programme.
• Lead or participate in EM/Flight Model activities and flatsat planning.
• Develop verification, validation, and acceptance tests; review supplier plans.
• Plan test campaigns, assess proposals, ensure compliance evidence.
• Develop test procedures, equipment lists, and testing infra.
• Support TRRs/Test Review Boards and disposition of non-conformances.
