The role is responsible for ensuring successful planning, coordination, execution, and governance of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across multiple business functions, regions, and workstreams. This individual will serve as the primary point of accountability for UAT delivery, business readiness, stakeholder engagement, defect management, and executive reporting throughout the testing lifecycle. A strong background in SAP S/4HANA migration and transformation programs is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesUAT Leadership & Governance- Lead and manage a team of UAT Test Leads across multiple business functions and geographies.- Define the overall UAT strategy, governance framework, standards, methodologies, and reporting structure.- Establish testing milestones, entry and exit criteria, quality gates, and business readiness requirements.- Ensure consistent execution of UAT processes across all workstreams and regions.SAP S/4HANA Program Delivery- Own UAT planning and execution for SAP S/4HANA migration and transformation initiatives.- Ensure business processes are validated end-to-end across SAP modules and integrated applications.- Partner with PMO, Functional Leads, System Integrators, and Business Process Owners to ensure testing objectives are achieved.- Oversee testing readiness including environments, test data, resource planning, and test execution schedules.Stakeholder Management- Act as the senior liaison between business leadership, program leadership, IT teams, and regional stakeholders.- Provide clear communication of testing progress, risks, issues, and business readiness status.- Facilitate executive steering discussions related to testing quality, critical defects, and go-live readiness.- Ensure alignment across global teams operating in different time zones and business environments.Defect & Risk Management- Oversee defect triage processes across all workstreams.- Monitor critical defects, risk exposure, and escalation activities.- Drive cross-functional resolution of complex business and system issues.- Assess overall testing quality and readiness for deployment decisions.Reporting & Quality Assurance- Develop and present executive-level dashboards, KPIs, and testing metrics.- Monitor test execution progress, coverage, defect trends, and business sign-off status.- Provide recommendations regarding go-live readiness and deployment risks.- Ensure compliance with program governance and quality standards.Business Readiness- Work closely with Change Management, Training, and Business Process teams to support organizational readiness.- Validate that business requirements have been successfully tested and accepted.- Coordinate final business sign-off and deployment approval activities.Required Experience- 4+ years of SAP testing and quality assurance experience.- Experience leading UAT teams within large-scale SAP programs.- Mandatory experience delivering SAP S/4HANA migration, implementation, or transformation projects.- Experience managing multiple UAT Leads and geographically distributed testing teams.- Proven track record overseeing end-to-end UAT for global ERP deployments.- Strong understanding of SAP business processes across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and related functions.- Experience working with System Integrators such as Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, IBM, Capgemini, Cognizant, or Infosys.Required Skills- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across global and regional teams.- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.- Expertise in UAT governance, planning, execution, and reporting.- Strong risk management and defect management experience.- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and executive sponsors.- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.- Experience working within complex matrix organizations and global transformation programs.- Proficiency with testing and project management tools such as SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar platforms.Preferred Qualifications- SAP S/4HANA certification or relevant SAP functional certification.- Experience with SAP Activate methodology.- Experience leading testing for large multinational organizations.- Knowledge of change management and business readiness practices.- PMP, PRINCE2, ISTQB, or equivalent certification desirable.Success Measures- UAT completion on schedule and within agreed quality targets.- Achievement of business sign-off and deployment readiness milestones.- Effective management of critical defects and testing risks.- Strong stakeholder satisfaction across business and IT teams.- Successful go-live support with minimal business disruption.
