Job summary

Amoria Bond is seeking an experienced SAP Technical Project Manager to lead a critical SAP S/4HANA data refresh and test landscape project across the Netherlands and France. You will own the data refresh, map dependencies and create a detailed runbook with timelines and responsibilities across SAP, infrastructure, security and integration teams.

The role requires 6+ years managing complex SAP projects, deep SAP landscape knowledge, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 6+ years managing complex SAP technical projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA landscapes and system environments.
• Experience with SAP data refreshes, system copies, test environments or similar SAP landscape projects.
• Strong understanding of dependencies between SAP and connected applications.
• Experience working across SAP, Infrastructure, Security, Technical Application Management and integration teams.
• Experience creating detailed technical project plans, runbooks and implementation timelines.
• Ability to determine workloads, sequencing, dependencies and responsibilities across multiple teams.
• Good understanding of data consistency and the impact of refreshing SAP environments.
• Understanding of integration and middleware environments.
• Experience managing multiple internal teams and external suppliers.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across business and IT.
• Ability to challenge technical assumptions and evaluate alternative solutions.
• Ability to understand the wider impact of technical changes across a complex application landscape.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of the SAP S/4HANA data refresh project.
• Analysing the complete SAP test landscape and connected applications.
• Bringing together all relevant SAP, Infrastructure, Security, Technical Application Management and integration stakeholders.
• Mapping all technical, application, data and project dependencies.
• Determining exactly what needs to happen before, during and after the SAP S/4HANA data refresh.
• Creating a detailed and executable runbook / blueprint for the complete data refresh.
• Defining activities, responsibilities, workloads, sequencing and timelines for all involved teams.
• Identifying SAP projects dependent on the availability of the SAP test environment.
• Analysing data consistency requirements across SAP and connected systems.
• Coordinating multiple technical teams, application teams and third-party suppliers.
• Working with stakeholders in the Netherlands and France.
• Identifying technical risks, bottlenecks and dependencies that could impact the timeline.
• Determining the total lead time required to execute the data refresh.
• Challenging whether a complete SAP data refresh is actually required.
• Assessing alternative solutions to provide a usable SAP test environment with relevant test data.
• Developing an alternative approach, including activities, dependencies and timeline, if a full data refresh can be avoided.
• Creating a reusable blueprint that can be used for future SAP data refreshes.
• Considering future SAP upgrades, including system downtime, freeze periods, dependencies and required activities.

SAP Technical Project Manager – SAP – S/4HANA – Data Refresh – Test Systems – Integrations – Infrastructure – 3 months+ – Hybrid

Amoria Bond is looking for an experienced SAP Technical Project Manager to join an international organisation for a time-critical SAP S/4HANA data refresh and test landscape project.

The organisation is looking for a senior SAP Project Manager who can take ownership of the analysis and planning of an SAP S/4HANA data refresh, bring all relevant technical and business stakeholders together and create a detailed runbook covering all systems, dependencies, activities, responsibilities and timelines.

The SAP S/4HANA refresh itself is not the main challenge. The complexity lies in understanding the impact across the wider application landscape.

An important part of the assignment is also to challenge whether a complete data refresh is actually required, or whether an alternative solution can provide a reliable SAP test environment with relevant and consistent test data faster.

As an SAP Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for:
