Role Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to lead complex SAP transformation initiatives, with a particular focus on S/4HANA upgrades, migrations, and technical modernization programs. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the planning, coordination, and delivery of SAP technical projects across a diverse technology landscape.

You will work closely with internal technology teams, business stakeholders, SAP representatives, and external implementation partners to ensure successful project execution from initiation through go-live. The position requires a strong combination of SAP technical knowledge, project leadership expertise, and stakeholder management capabilities within a global and complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of SAP technical transformation projects, including S/4HANA upgrades, migrations, and system modernization initiatives.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and governance processes to ensure successful project execution.
• Coordinate technical workstreams across SAP Basis, infrastructure, security, integrations, development, data migration, testing, and related technology areas.
• Identify, manage, and resolve cross-functional dependencies, risks, issues, and project challenges.
• Collaborate with internal teams, business stakeholders, SAP, and external implementation partners to align project objectives and delivery expectations.
• Monitor project progress and ensure technical deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.
• Facilitate communication and decision-making between technical and business teams.
• Support the ongoing simplification, modernization, and enhancement of FrieslandCampina's SAP technology landscape.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and maintain strong relationships across all organizational levels.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SAP Technical Project Manager in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on SAP knowledge and a solid technical background.
• Demonstrated success leading SAP system upgrades, migrations, S/4HANA implementations, or large-scale transformation programs.
• Extensive experience in project planning, delivery management, governance, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Ability to manage multiple technical workstreams and coordinate interdependencies across diverse teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior business leaders, technical teams, SAP representatives, and external partners.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to translate and align technical requirements with business objectives.
• Experience working within international and matrix organizations.
• Pragmatic, results-driven, and capable of delivering outcomes in complex project environments.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
