Job summary

Everience is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Controller Project Manager to lead large-scale finance transformations across Controlling, Accounting, Tax and Treasury. You will translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions and drive delivery using SAP Activate.

Requirements include at least 5 years in SAP S/4HANA, SAP FI/CO, finance expertise, and a strong PM background. Proficiency in English is essential; Dutch or German is a plus. Bachelor's degree required.

Qualifications

• Strong Project Management background.

Job Description

As an SAP S/4HANA Controller Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering large-scale SAP Finance transformation initiatives. Acting as a subject matter expert in SAP FI/CO, you will translate business requirements into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions across Controlling, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury processes. You will combine functional expertise with project leadership responsibilities, working closely with business and IT stakeholders to drive solution design, manage implementation activities, and ensure successful project delivery using SAP best practices and SAP Activate methodology.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling transformation projects.
• Act as the SAP FI/CO subject matter expert for business and project stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Design and drive end‑to‑end Controlling processes leveraging standard SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
• Provide guidance and direction to implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project activities while ensuring alignment with project objectives, scope, timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate workshops, solution discussions, and business process alignment sessions.
• Ensure effective integration between Finance and related SAP modules.
• Collaborate closely with business leads, IT teams, consultants, and key stakeholders.
• Support solution design across related areas including:
  • Portfolio & Project Management (SAP PPM, SAP PS)
  • Service Management
  • Enterprise Asset Management
  • Master Data Management
• Contribute to change management and business adoption of new SAP S/4HANA capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP Treasury experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with SAP Activate methodology.
• Strong Project Management background.
• Experience delivering at least 3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong Finance background with expertise in SAP FI/CO.
• Solid understanding of Accounting, Controlling, and Treasury business processes.
• Ability to design and drive end‑to‑end Controlling solutions within SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of integrations with related SAP modules and business processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑starter with the ability to work independently in complex project environments.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is preferred.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Dutch and/or German language skills are considered an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree (HBO) is required.
• Master's degree is considered an advantage.
