Job summary

Everience Benelux, Amsterdam, is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Controller Project Manager to lead large-scale Finance transformations. You will act as the FI/CO SME, translating business requirements into scalable S/4HANA solutions across Controlling, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury, while guiding implementation teams and aligning with stakeholders.

The role demands strong project management, 5+ years in S/4HANA, and a finance background with SAP FI/CO; English proficiency is required with Dutch/German

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP Treasury experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP Activate methodology.
• Strong Project Management background.
• Experience delivering at least 3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong Finance background with expertise in SAP FI/CO.
• Solid understanding of Accounting, Controlling, and Treasury business processes.
• Ability to design and drive end‑to‑end Controlling solutions within SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of integrations with related SAP modules and business processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑starter with the ability to work independently in complex project environments.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is preferred.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Dutch and/or German language skills are considered an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree (HBO) is required.
• Master's degree is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling transformation projects.
• Act as the SAP FI/CO subject matter expert for business and project stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Design and drive end-to-end Controlling processes leveraging standard SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
• Provide guidance and direction to implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project activities while ensuring alignment with project objectives, scope, timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate workshops, solution discussions, and business process alignment sessions.
• Ensure effective integration between Finance and related SAP modules.
• Collaborate closely with business leads, IT teams, consultants, and key stakeholders.
• Support solution design across related areas including: Portfolio & Project Management (SAP PPM, SAP PS), Service Management, Enterprise Asset Management, Master Data Management.
• Contribute to change management and business adoption of new SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
