You will gather requirements, document processes, translate needs into functional specs, and support the SAP transition and business readiness for production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP experience in a manufacturing context.

Business Analyst / Functional Relationship Manager - SAP Manufacturing

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands | Onsite - EU Citizenship or EU Travel required
Duration: Initial 6 months

We're supporting a leading organisation in the appointment of a Business Analyst / Functional Relationship Manager to support its Technical & Production (T&P) function at a new manufacturing site in Almere.
This is a business-facing Business Analyst role, sitting between Manufacturing/Operations and IT. You'll work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, analyse processes, identify improvements and translate business needs into effective SAP solutions.
The site is preparing to transition to SAP, making strong SAP experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes particularly important.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the key Business Analyst and IT partner for Manufacturing and Operations.
• Gather, analyse and document business requirements.
• Work with Production, Quality and Asset Management stakeholders to understand processes and identify improvements.
• Translate business requirements into SAP solutions and functional specifications.
• Support the site's SAP transition and business readiness.
• Bridge the gap between business stakeholders, IT teams and technical delivery partners.
• Support process improvements and SAP adoption across the manufacturing environment.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure business requirements are effectively represented throughout delivery.

Required Experience

• 5+ years' SAP experience, ideally in a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant or similar business-facing role.
• Strong experience with:
  • SAP PP - Production Planning
  • SAP QM - Quality Management
  • SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance - Asset Management
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, Quality and Asset Management processes.
• Proven requirements gathering and business process analysis experience.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively between business and IT teams.
• Fluent English.
• Ability to work onsite in Amsterdam.

Desirable

• SAP MII, MM or WM experience.
• Experience supporting SAP implementations or transitions.
• Dutch language skills.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
