We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support ongoing finance transformation initiatives and ensure the stability and optimisation of our SAP landscape. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to deliver high-quality functional solutions within the SAP FICO module.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional analysis, solution design, and configuration within SAP FICO (FI and CO modules).
• Support ongoing SAP S/4HANA or ECC enhancements, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
• Perform system configuration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and support defect resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Sales, HR, BI, etc.) to ensure seamless end-to-end process alignment.
• Provide expertise on financial processes including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, and Controlling.
• Support period-end close activities and troubleshoot FICO-related issues.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation for internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, data standards, and audit requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ hands‑on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
• Strong SAP configuration experience across FI and CO sub‑modules.
• Proven experience with end‑to‑end SAP project delivery (design, build, test, deploy).
• Experience working in hybrid environments with international teams.
• Deep understanding of financial business processes and best practices.
• Prior exposure to S/4HANA is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• English fluency required; Dutch is an advantage.
