Job summary

Kurita Europe GmbH in the Netherlands seeks a Sales & Service Engineer (m/f/d) to provide on-site technical support for water treatment products and systems, perform startups, maintenance, and optimize chemical dosing, while building trusted relationships with customers.

The role requires 2+ years in B2B water treatment or process engineering, fluency in Dutch and English, and a valid driver’s license; you will promote services and tailor solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B Water Treatment / Chemical Engineering and/or Process Engineering. Ideally 2+ years of experience.
• Good knowledge and experience in cooperation with customers and operators of process chemicals and/or water treatment.
• Fluent Dutch and English language skills.
• Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site technical support for a range of products, applications, and systems in line with established service plans.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and fine-tunes equipment and trains customers on operation and maintenance procedures.
• Starts up systems, performs preventive maintenance, and routine service tasks to ensure product performance and reliability.
• Promotes and sells water treatment process chemicals and related service solutions, identifying customer needs and tailoring recommendations.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers at all levels, communicating effectively on technical, operational, and commercial matters.

Sales & Service Engineer (m/f/d)

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

• Provides on-site technical support for a range of products, applications, and systems in line with established service plans. Maintains detailed service records, including assessments of operational data, test results, chemical treatment levels, inventory status of chemicals and testing supplies, as well as identification of performance gaps and recommended corrective actions.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and fine-tunes equipment as required, while also training customers on proper operation and maintenance procedures. Reviews and adjusts chemical treatment programs and dosage levels when necessary for full-service customers.
• Carries out system start-ups, preventive maintenance activities, and routine service tasks to ensure the effective performance and reliability of the company’s products, applications, and systems.
• Actively promotes and sells water treatment process chemicals and related service solutions, identifying customer needs and developing tailored recommendations to optimize system performance and operational efficiency.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers at all organizational levels, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring effective communication regarding technical, operational, and commercial matters.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in B2B Water Treatment / Chemical Engineering and/or Process Engineering. Ideally 2+ years of experience. Experience in water treatment will be much appreciated.
• Good knowledge and experience in cooperation with customers and operators of process chemicals and/or water treatment.
• Bachelor or Master’s degree with water experience is a plus.
• Fluent Dutch and English language skills.
