Jaarbeurs in Utrecht is seeking an experienced sales professional to attract new clients and deepen relationships in the livestock and protein sectors. You will work in a fast-paced, international environment, connecting clients with smart creative solutions across physical and digital channels.

You will work from our Utrecht office, in a fast-paced, international environment. Your main goal is to attract new clients and grow strong relationships with existing ones in the livestock and protein sector.
You stay on top of the market trends in the international livestock and protein sector and help our clients connect with their target audience through smart creative solutions (whether physical, digital, or a mix of both). You will work closely with clients and partners, both in the office and out in the field.
You are able to spot high value commercial opportunities, enjoy building long-term relationships, and know how to turn ideas into results. You are proactive, a confident business partner for our clients and ready to make an impact.
VIV is the flagship brand of VNU Europe Exhibitions (the international branch of Royal Jaarbeurs) and caters to the international agrifood sector. The brand is an absolute leader internationally in the field of livestock farming and protein production across species.
Our international trade shows include VIV Europe, VIV Asia, VIV MEA, VIV Africa, and the national editions like VIV Select China, VIV Select Türkiye and the recently launched VIV Select India. You can find a full overview of the portfolio on the website .
The VNU team in Utrecht consists of 15 colleagues, and is an international, multicultural, and dynamic team. You will also work closely with the team at the VNU office in Bangkok.
A medior to high professional education level of thinking and working
At least 2 years of experience in a commercial environment and experience with lead generation and consultative selling
A natural talent for customer focus, taking initiative, persuasiveness, result-driven thinking and with a strong commercial drive
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel occasionally
You live in the Netherlands and are able to come to the Utrecht office 3-4 days a week
Experience in exhibition sales or knowledge of international agribusiness / nutrition is a plus, but not a requirement

A monthly salary between €3,566 and €4,076 based on a 40-hour work week, depending on your experience
8% holiday allowance, a pension scheme, and participation in a collective company bonus scheme (up to 5%)
Participation in the commission scheme (1 monthly salary at OTE and up to 2.5 monthly salaries)
A laptop and smartphone (up to €850 budget)
